Oscar Mayer Honorable Mention
A few weeks ago, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile rolled into town and parked at the fair grounds with the carnival. Even though Biscuit and Wrangler were too young to enter the singing contest, they were allowed their moment in the spotlight to “ham” it up.
Oscar Mayer must be conserving bandwidth resources, because the performance was edited to remove the comical beginning, in which we realized Mom was the dork that knew all the words to the jingle. Biscuit quickly went into a Milli Vanilli / Ashley Simpson lip sync mode to disguise his mother’s embarrassing solo.
Since he and Wrangler didn’t know the words, they were allowed to sing another song. I couldn’t be more proud of my little Biscuit’s performance. American Idol may have a contender in a few years … if we can get him to focus on one song at a time! We’ll have to work on Wrangler’s back up skills. He was more interested in finding a way IN the Wienermobile and hiding in brother’s shadow than starring in his own commercial.
